Ingredients:
- Any kind of potato, but I usually use russet or yellow (yellow in this case)
- Butter (I’m using vegan)
- Seasoning: I’m using Trader Joe’s onion salt (best option in my opinion, but garlic, onion powder work the same) and dried parsley

The first step is to wash your potatoes and then stab it a few times with a fork. I also go extra just in case because I don’t want it exploding in the microwave! Then, damp a paper towel, place it over top and put it in the microwave for at least five minutes!

Next, you can wait for it to cook or just be very careful when slicing. Make sure not to slice all the way through!

If you do it while it’s hot, like I do, you will places slices of butter in between the pieces. It will melt, but that’s completely okay!

Season with your seasonings of choice. Then, I use an air fryer, but the oven or toaster oven will work just as fine. I opt for the air fryer at about 350 for 20 minutes. Keep it in longer if you want it crispier!
