A huge thank you to the staff at Ruben’s for inviting me to come and check them out. I had such an amazing time learning about y’all and y’all really took care of me! I loved learning about how Ruben’s came to be. Ruben informed me that this location has been on Charles Street in Baltimore for about two years now and he opened this restaurant from his experience working at the farmers market with his dad. Ruben’s offers Mexican food as well as crepes with a twist of Mexican flavor!
At a glance, Ruben’s may not look like a lot, but you cannot judge a book by its cover. It’s a smaller place with limited seating, but it has a lot of heart and the food is so good I don’t think you’ll be sitting long before it’s gone anyways!

These are their tacos: I was able to try a chicken, chorizo, and beef! The chorizo was by far my favorite, it packed a lot of flavor and some heat. They are topped with pico, guac, and cheese. Load it up! I am here for these, they were so delicious!

Now for this bad boy…y’all. It’s their Cali burrito which is filled with extra steak, cheese, guac, and french fries! Yes, you heard me right. French fries. This was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had and I am wishing I was eating another one right now! The flavors really went well with one another, it was super creamy from the avocados and so cheesy. I highly recommend y’all check this one out!

A special thank you to Rubens for being so generous and gifting me a bottle of their signature hot sauce because that stuff is amazing. The orange color may look mild, but don’t be fooled it packs a punch. I had one drop and it was fiery!
I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality and allowing me to enjoy their delicious food! I definitely will be back for another cali burrito and to try the crepes!
