Lights, Camera, Action!
Never in my life did I expect to be attending a movie theater opening! I felt like a celebrity! It was truly an amazing night and I have never been to such a fancy theater! My fondest memory as a child was seeing the Harry Potter series every year with papamunches. He was the one that introduced me to movies and grew my love for them. Fun fact: my favorite movie is “What a Girl Wants” (and yes, papamunches sat through a chick flick with me).
After arriving to the theater, you enter through two floors of escalators to arrive at the entrance lobby where you can purchase your tickets from a kiosk. Then, you enter to the food/snack/lounge!
We were able to try some of the amazing dishes crafted by their chef! What movie theater have you gone to that has gourmet restaurant style food you can bring in to your movie?! Definitely a foodies dream!
Pictured above were these salmon bites (sorry I can’t remember the exact name), however, it has salmon, kale, avocado, and tomato on a sliced baguette. It was seriously my favorite thing I ate that night!
Did I mention that there’s also a full bar?! Talk about the full experience! Johnny, the amazing bartender, made me a “something sweet”. In all honesty, I’m not quite sure what is in it besides vodka, but it was extremely tasty! This is also a slice of the flatbread pizza they have. Also, extremely tasty!
Next, we were in for a treat! We were able to sit in their luxury recliner seats (that are HEATED) and watch a film! These were definitely the most comfortable seats I have sat in. They have a wall to wall screen so you have the best view no matter where you sit and immersive sound for the best experience possible!
Don’t forget the best part though, popcorn! I settled into my seat with my popcorn and my drink and we were ready to watch the film! They played Emma that night which honestly it’s a movie I would have chosen to see on my own, but I actually really enjoyed it. It definitely goes to show that sometimes you should step out of your comfort zone and watch something you normally wouldn’t! I had an amazing experience that night and cannot wait for quarantine to be over so that my friends and I can go enjoy another movie!
