It is definitely pretty hard to find super authentic Asian cuisine where I live and so this place was definitely such an amazing addition! In case you didn’t know, it is located in Towson, MD which was my college town! Unfortunately, this place opened after I graduated, so it is a bit of a drive for me now, but it’s 100% worth it!
I first visited this place for Valentine’s Day this past year and then we went again for my Masters graduation dinner! Both times were amazing. The interior is super modern, but also traditional. The service was impeccable both times. I highly recommend.

The first three dishes are what we ordered during our Valentine’s dinner. First starting off, this is the “fried pork intestine with chili sauce”. I’ve definitely said it before that this dish can be intimidating, but it’s truly so flavorful and one of my favorites. This was the dish that sold it for my boyfriend and I, the intestine was cooked so perfectly and it was incredibly crispy. But not only that, the flavor was intense and flavorful. I also really loved the peppers in the dish because they added a really nice crisp to the dish.

This is the Sichuan style cold noodle. Although, I had told my boyfriend it was cold before ordering it, he was still surprised that it was cold. We both agreed that it definitely would have been better if it was warm. The Sichuan flavor is really tasty in this dish and it’s tasty. However, I personally don’t like lo mein noodles and so I probably wouldn’t order this again, but if it were made with any other type of noodle, I would definitely consider getting it again.

Finally, for our Valentine’s dinner, we ordered the crispy duck. We both agreed that this isn’t what we expected. We thought we were getting the traditional roasted duck and I think if that is what you’re looking for then you definitely should order the “smoked tea duck”, but we order the “crispy duck”. It was definitely an interesting take as I have never eaten fried duck before. It was okay, but I think it definitely needed a sauce to pair with. It was a bit dry.

These final pictures are from my Masters graduation dinner. First we started off with the salt and pepper shrimp. I for the life of me could not find the exact name on the menu, but I am 99.9% sure that this is what that is called (But if you ask for it, they definitely will know what you’re talking about). This is one of my all time favorite dishes, but traditionally, they use shrimp with the head on and I personally hate that because I’m lazy and I hate peeling (I also have an irrational fear of shrimp heads). But, they use headless and peeled already shrimp which makes this dish AMAZING. But not only that, the flavors together really meld so well, I know salt and pepper sound so simple, but there is definitely other spices that make this dish delicious! The fried noodle pieces are also really delicious.

I also couldn’t find the exact name of this dish but it is intestine and pigs blood in a sour sauce. I know that sounds super scary and I personally don’t eat pigs blood, but my family and my boyfriend both love it. It also has great health benefits as well. I only eat the intestine pieces in this dish, it definitely is an acquired taste, but I’ve been eating it since I was kid. If you’re feeling adventurous, I highly recommend!

Finally, we order the fried intestine in chili sauce again. As you can see, this time they didn’t saute as much as they did during valentines day, but it was much crispier. Both of them were amazing, but I definitely preferred when they sautéed it more and it was a little saucier.
