Aldi Haul – August

Written by:

Disclaimer – I actually did this shop back in July, so I’m super sorry if you no longer can get some of these items. I did intend to post this much earlier, but just kept putting it off.

Produce

  • Spinach – Spinach is always great here, it comes in the bag or the plastic carton, I usually opt for the bag because it’s cheaper and honestly tastes the same
  • Asparagus – You can usually find it for a good deal here, I love roasting them in the air fryer!
  • Multi-color Peppers – I think peppers are typically a little pricey no matter where you get them, but I usually get them here because they come in a three pack and I don’t eat a whole of peppers usually
  • Zucchini – I love zucchini, especially in the summer, it’s so refreshing. I love getting it at Aldi and I opt to either pan sear them or roast in the air fryer!
  • Mushrooms – Great price, always fresh, love getting these here
  • Onions – Also another great priced item and lasts for a while

Protein

  • Eggs – We always get our eggs at Aldi and I stand by them and they’re always a great deal, typically less than $1, the most I’ve paid is maybe $1.19
  • Steak – Aldi actually has really amazing prices on protein and if you look you can usually find protein at a reduced price on sale. I love their steak and it’s super delicious on the grill or pan seared!

Drinks

  • BodyArmor (Fruit Punch) – I actually hate fruit punch and don’t typically get it, but I was recommended to try BodyArmor and this was the only flavor they had. It’s coconut juice based and was refreshing, but I didn’t love the flavor. Would definitely try other flavors next time if they sell it!
  • DryBubbly (Watermelon) – I’ll be honest, I haven’t tried this yet because I’ve been saving it for a brunch moment. However, I’ve heard really amazing things about it and can’t wait to try it soon.

Snacks

  • Clancy’s Bagel Chips (Garlic) – I am a HUGE bagel chips fan and these are AMAZING. I finished a whole bag in 2 days and then ran back to get more. Enough said.
  • Elevation Bars – This is a hard no for me. If you’ve ever had Rx Bars, they have that similar date texture, which I hate. Taste is okay, lemony and fruity, but I can’t get paste the texture so I would not get it again.
  • Lemonade Bars (Strawberry and Pink Lemonade) – These are SO good and taste really healthy/refreshing. I love the pink lemonade ones more than the strawberry, but both are equally enjoyable!
  • Wesley Dale cheese – I think I’m just not a cheese gal…I’ve tried a lot of cheese in my life and I just can’t seem to get into the whole eating cheese for fun thing. I’m really not a fan tbh.

Fun Items

  • Casserole dish – I’m OBSESSED with this beautiful lemon casserole dish and I cannot wait to start using it!
  • Cooling mat – My dog is obsessed with laying on this mat, I definitely recommend for your furry pets.
  • Bamboo bath tray – This is one of my favorite products I’ve gotten yet. I love taking baths and this takes it to a whole other level. Since getting it, I love drinking wine while taking a bath and watching a show/movie.
  • Picnic basket – This is definitely my favorite product I’ve gotten yet, I use it so often, for just my trips to the grocery store and eventually I’m going to use it on picnics! It’s insulated which is super cool and comes in handy.

Sprouts

  • Walden Farms (Sweet Cream and Syrup) – these two things I got at Sprouts and not Aldi’s, but I figured I’d include it in this haul as well. I can’t say I love the sweet cream because it didn’t really add much to the coffee and slightly changed the taste and so I could live without it tbh. I haven’t tried the syrup yet, but I think this will be a better product.
